Volvo Cars Energy Audit

Volvo Cars is located in Victoria and consist of show room, offices and workshop. The building was renovated one year before the energy audit date and the challenge was to find energy saving opportunities in such new building. However, we were able to find 7 energy saving opportunities and the major recommendations are listed below:

• Improve air conditioning units controls.
• Install window film to save energy in summer and winter.
• Replace old inefficient lights with new high efficiency type.
• Improve lighting controls.
• Improve office equipment controls.
• Replace old inefficient domestic fridge with new high efficiency type.

Total annual cost saving was $2,932 with 2.89 years payback period. Annual GHG avoidance was 14 Tonnes CO2-e.
