FUCHS Beresfield Manufacturing Plant Energy Audit

An industrial facility located in Beresfield, NSW. It has a factory for lubricating oils, a warehouse and an administration office attached to it. The energy audit was part of their energy saving plan to achieve their sustainability targets. The major recommendations for this facility are listed below:

• Improve the controls of the gas oil heater and its circulating pump.
• Recover heat from the air compressor system.
• Replace the electric resistant heaters with high efficiency heat pump units.
• Improve the controls of the lights.
• Replace the domestic gas water heaters with high efficiency heat pump water heaters.

Total annual cost saving was $121,530 with 5.2 years payback period and 19% return on investment (ROI).

Conductix Industrial Energy Audit

An industrial facility located in Melbourne, Victoria. It has factory, warehouse and an offices building attached to it. The energy audit was part of their energy saving plan to achieve their sustainability targets. The major recommendations for this facility are listed below:

• Re-adjust the central air compressor controls.
• Improve the air conditioning systems controls.
• Install solar PV System to generate electricity.
• Replace old inefficient electric motors with high efficiency type.
• Install lighting controls.
• Replace old lights with new high efficient type.

Total annual cost saving was $5,775 with 7.41 years payback period. Annual GHG avoidance was 37 Tonnes CO2-e.

Industrial Facility Energy Performance Statement

AESS was engaged to prepare Energy Performance Statement (EPS) for an industrial facility located in NSW, which is part of the sustainability development submission required by Willoughby City Council.

Because the mechanical design was not yet completed, AESS prepared conceptual design and selected the required mechanical equipment to estimate the energy consumption of the facility.
